About UXL

UXL is run by Graeme, who has spent the past 20 years helping businesses large & small maximise their growth through innovative marketing.

Sometimes called a Portfolio Marketing Director, Fractional CMO or Growth Consultant, Graeme assists SME businesses across Scotland by providing strategic expertise and Board-level direction, coupled-with hands-on marketing & communications activation.

During his career, Graeme has worked for a marketing consultancy in London, a FTSE 100 business, a charity, one of Scotland's leading advertising agencies, a tech start-up and a large accountancy & professional services firm.

We have teamed up with Aetas Partners, a financial consultancy which offers a wide range of services to individuals, families, and businesses through its unique “private office platform”. Their platform brings together specialist advisors who provide a coordinated and holistic service which is always tailored to your specific circumstances and offers an integrated, comprehensive and expert approach to your financial wellbeing, in one place.

Graeme sits on the Board as a Director and Trustee of Grid Iron Theatre Company Ltd

A multi-award winning company, most renowned in site-specific theatre, the company performs in a wide variety of venues which have included a cancer hospital in Jordan, land and air-side at Edinburgh Airport, parks, gardens, playgrounds and fields all over Britain and Ireland. The company appears regularly at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, and has appeared three times as part of the Edinburgh International Festival, most recently in 2022 with Muster Station: Leith, a production which took place within Leith Academy. The company's next show is a co-production with the National Theatre of Scotland for Fringe 2024, entitled June Carter Cash: The Woman, Her Music and Me.

Graeme also sits on the Board as a Director and Trustee of Culture & Business Scotland (previously called Arts & Business Scotland), which is an organisation responsible for promoting and supporting partnerships between businesses and the creative sector and distributing Scottish Government funding to support these activities through the Culture & Business Fund.
